Keith's POV

"No. I am not going anywhere with you," Ebony said. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. 

"What do you mean, My Love?" I asked confused

"I am not going anywhere with someone who doesn't really love me. I saw what you said to Sandy and Cindy after fucking them."

"What are you talking about?" I asked, but Ebony didn't say anything

"I showed her the past. I showed her what you really think of her. Now she knows how you really feel about the mate bond," Tabatha said 

"Ebony, please don't listen to her. She is trying to separate us and turn you evil," I said

"That may be true, but that doesn't change the fact that I heard what you told Sandy and Cindy. You told them that if I were your Mate, you would never accept me and that the only way you would is if the bond made you love me. You told them you would never truly love me," Ebony said. I could feel through the Mate Bond how hurt she was, but I was confused because I never told them I wouldn't accept them.

"I am sorry you are hurt, but I promise I never said that, Ebony. Tabatha started laughing hysterically, causing me to look at her. I knew she was trying to break Ebony and me up, and I wasn't going to let that happen.

"What is so funny?" I asked

"You. You are trying to lie and tell her you never said those words. How about I refresh your memory," Tabatha said, and soon a white light shone between us, then a Mirage appeared. I could see Sandy, Cindy, and I fucking. Then, Cindy said Ebony might be my Mate, and I told her I would never accept Ebony. I remembered that conversation, but that is not what I said.

"You see. That is why your Mate is upset. She just found out you don't really love her," Tabatha said

"That is not true, Tabatha, and you know it. You changed what I said to them," I replied

"Why would I do that? I only showed your Mate the truth," Tabatha said

"Ebony, look at me. I never said that to them. When Sandy said I would reject you, I told her I would never reject my Mate. I told them that if you were my Mate, I would accept you and even told them I would have a lot of making up to do. I promise I never said I would reject you. I would rip my tongue out of my mouth before even considering doing that because I love you," I said, looking into her eyes.

"I don't believe you," Ebony said, blocking me from feeling her emotions. I knew she was upset with me.

"Ebony, surely you are not listening to that witch. She wants to come between the two of you so she can use you to get what she wants," Jacob said

"That is funny coming from you, King Jacob. Isn't that why you wanted to find your long lost daughter? Because she was the only one capable of becoming Queen. I bet if you had your other daughter first, you would never have come looking for Princess Ebony. You needed Ebony to take her place as Queen. Isn't that the first thing you told her when you met? You have been trying to convince her to become Queen since the beginning. Not caring if that was what she wanted," Tabatha said

"You are right. I wanted my daughter to become Queen because it is her birthright. But that is not why I came looking for her," Jacob said and then looked at Ebony.

"I came looking for you because you are my daughter, and I love you. I was a mess for years when your mom stole you from me. I have been looking for you ever since. When I found out you were alive and well, you had no idea how relieved I was. Meeting you was one of the happiest moments of my life. I loeve you just as much as Alissa," Jacob said

"That's why you were still seeing the Queen after she tried to kill Ebony," Tabatha said

"I made a mistake seeing her after that. But I also rejected her to save my daughter's life," Jacob growled.

"That is enough," Ebony said. I looked at her and could see her eyes were turning red. I could hear thunder and see lightning outside. The clear night was turning into a storm. "Nothing either of you says will change my mind. I am staying with Tabatha, so please leave," Ebony said

"No. You can't be serious, Ebony," I said 

"I am. You need to leave," Ebony said

"Ebony, you can't listen to her. She is trying to use you as she used me," Tia said

"Used you. I took care of you. If it weren't for me, you would be dead right now," Tabatha said

"Ebony, please come to me," I said, and Ebony lifted her hands and closed her eyes, using her powers to push Jacob, Tia, Abby, and me out of the house. "Ebony, no," I screamed, trying to get back inside the house. Suddenly a red shield went over the place, causing me to move back.

"What the fuck," I said

"Ebony's getting stronger," Abby said

"Did you see her eyes? They were red," Jacob asked

"Yes, I have to get back to her. I need to make this right," I replied

"I am afraid it might be too late. The storm has already begun," Abby said.
