Alpha's Twins Chapter 103

**Natalia's POV**

Adrian's question completely threw me off. I stared into his eyes and saw pure rage burning there. His whole body language screamed that he was barely holding it together.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

He started moving toward me, but I slammed my hand against his chest, stopping him cold.

"Don't you dare come any closer. You make me sick."

His body went rigid, and a low growl rumbled from his throat. "Sick? What the hell are you talking about?"

"You. You make me sick."

I watched his jaw clench tight, like he was fighting to keep himself from exploding.

"What do you want, Adrian? Why won't you just leave me alone? We already settled this over the phone, remember? You said you hated me, and I'm fine with that. The feeling's mutual. Now back off." I tried to keep my voice steady.

But my words only pissed him off more. He grabbed my wrist and yanked my hand away from his chest.

I tried to push him with my other hand, but he caught that one too, pinning both my wrists above my head.

My eyes went wide. "What the hell are you doing?"

He leaned down until we were eye to eye. "Why do you hate me so much? I'm supposed to be the one who hates you."

Of course. I'd bruised his precious ego. He wanted to be the one calling the shots—the one who got to hate me, hurt me, tear me down. But if I hated him back? That gave me power, and he couldn't stand that. In his twisted mind, only he had the right to hurt me.

"A guy like you deserves nothing but hate. And if that hurts your ego? Too damn bad," I said, keeping my voice ice-cold.

I wasn't going to give him what he wanted. He was looking for the old Natalia—the one who used to beg him for scraps of attention. That woman was dead and buried.

Adrian just stared at me, not saying a word. I had no clue what was going through his head or why he'd dragged me here.

Then something shifted in his dark eyes. They went softer somehow. Maybe I was seeing things.

"I think we—"

My words died as he tilted his head and moved toward my neck.

When his nose barely grazed my skin, my lips parted involuntarily. I tried to break free from his grip.

He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply against my neck. I struggled harder, trying to get away.

When it became clear I couldn't break loose, I lifted my knee, aiming for between his legs. But the bastard saw it coming.

Before I knew what hit me, he pressed his entire body against mine and wedged his thigh between my legs, coming dangerously close to touching me where I definitely didn't want him to.

"Adrian! What the fuck are you doing?" I yelled.

My voice echoed through the empty space. There was no one around to save me from this psycho.

He pulled back from my neck to look at my face.

"You're a sick pervert!" I spat, glaring at him with all the hatred I could muster.

His eyes roamed over my face before he smirked.

"Since you hate me so much, let me give you a real reason to hate me."

"What do you mea—ahhh!"

He dove back to my neck, but this time he pressed his lips against my skin.

My whole body went numb at the contact. I shook my head, trying to clear the fog, but when I struggled, it only pressed my chest against his.

When he started sucking on my skin, I bit down hard on my bottom lip.

"Let me go, you bastard!"

He acted like he couldn't even hear me.

I wanted my wolf to take over and give me the strength to fight him off, but she wasn't cooperating. She actually *wanted* our mate this close. She was enjoying what he was doing.

"The second you let me go, I'm going to destroy you," I warned, forcing myself to stop struggling.

He paused and pulled back, pressing one last kiss to my neck.

Finally, he stepped away and released my wrists.

The moment I was free, I raised my hand to slap him. But he caught my wrist and twisted my arm behind my back before I could connect.

"Mad?" he asked, looking like the devil himself.

He glanced down at my neck and brushed his thumb over the spot he'd been attacking. I hissed at the slight sting.

"Perfect," he muttered.

I stared at him like he'd lost his mind. "Have you completely snapped?"

"Maybe," he said, meeting my eyes again.

"You can't just do whatever you want because you're some big shot Alpha. Women aren't your personal toys that you can grab whenever you feel like it."

Instead of getting angry, he just watched me for a long moment before responding.

"But you're not just any woman. You're *my* woman."

My brain short-circuited. "W-What?"

He dropped my hand and looked away, like he hadn't meant to say that.

He cleared his throat. "I mean, you're my mate. So I have every right."

I glared at him. "You crossed a line today. I'm going to ruin you, Adrian Miller."

"How? By stealing more of my business deals?"

"Shut up. And stay the hell away from me. I'm telling your girlfriend about this."

At the mention of Lynda, his expression shifted like he'd completely forgotten she existed.

I smirked at him. He smirked right back, which made me want to punch him.

Who *was* this guy? I'd never seen him act like this before. This wasn't the Adrian I used to know.

"You know, whoever leaked those photos from the council party had the right idea. I'm thinking we should give everyone some fresh gossip tonight."

My eyes narrowed. "What did you just say?"

He glanced at my neck and actually had the nerve to wink at me.

"Now you've got my mark on you. Everyone's going to have something new to talk about tomorrow. Better get ready for the drama."
