Alpha's Twins Chapter 75

**Natalia's POV**

I was talking with one of my board members when Adrian scoffed at my response. The guy next to me was about to say something to him, but I held up a hand and told him to leave us alone.

Then I turned to face Adrian.

"So what exactly were you saying?" I asked.

I was honestly surprised this man had shown up to my brother's party. I never expected to see him here. He was so damn arrogant—only bothered showing up to council meetings. Other packs and their celebrations? He couldn't care less.

Adrian slammed his glass down on the bar counter hard enough to make anyone jump. Anyone but me.

I stared straight into his eyes. They were filled with pure hatred for me, and honestly? I was enjoying every second of it.

"That was your new target, wasn't it?"

I raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"First Eric, then his Alpha Jason, now that guy. How many men did you have to sleep with to climb this high?"

His question caught me off guard, but I didn't let anger take over.

Instead of snapping back at him, I gave him a mocking smile and glanced over at Lynda.

She was chatting with some women who definitely looked like they came from royal bloodlines. I was pretty sure she was bragging about her relationship with Adrian to anyone who'd listen.

"I think you've got some serious issues in your personal life. That's why you can't focus on your own business and keep obsessing over mine."

I turned back to Adrian. He was scowling at me like my words had really gotten under his skin. His jaw was clenched so tight I thought he might crack a tooth trying to control himself.

What was he gonna do? Attack me right here?

Someone cleared their throat. That's when I noticed Beta Patrick was standing there too. He waved at me awkwardly and said, "Don't mind my Alpha. He's just—"

Adrian cut him off with a death glare.

I shrugged. "Good to see you again, Beta Patrick."

With that, I walked away from the bar.

I shook my head, thinking about how Adrian was going to react when he found out who I really was.

Even though I was looking forward to seeing him shocked tonight, his words still stung.

I could be cold and heartless toward him, but my wolf? She still wanted this man.

Even if I tried, I couldn't reject him because he was an Alpha. She-wolves don't get to reject Alpha males—that's just not how it works. The only way to break this unwanted bond would be to get marked by another wolf.

But I wasn't ready to be with anyone right now.

"Boss, Noah and Aria are asking for you," Damia said, walking up to me.

"What did they say?"

"They want to come to the party."

My heart sank. I wanted nothing more than to tell the whole world that they were my children. But right now, I had no choice but to keep them hidden from the other Alphas.

This party was just about revealing my identity. If they found out about my kids, they'd definitely start asking questions about their father. And I couldn't give them answers to that. No one here knew I'd been married to Adrian—that he was my ex-husband. So even if they figured out the kids were from my previous marriage, Adrian would just deny it and give my children some horrible reputation.

"Tell them I'll be back at the pack house soon."

"Yes, boss."

Damia walked to a corner and called my kids, relaying what I'd told her.

After talking to them, she came back.

"They said you owe them now."

"Owe them? How?"

"They said you have to spend tomorrow with them."

I chuckled, picturing Noah and Aria's pouty faces when they said that. My babies were so cute. They just wanted my attention. It was my fault for being so wrapped up in work that I barely had time for them.

"Okay. I'll take them somewhere fun tomorrow," I told Damia, who nodded with a smile.

That's when I heard my brother's voice.

Everyone started gathering around the stage as he spoke into the microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for coming tonight. Even though I organized this party, I'm not the one making the big announcement. That honor goes to my father, Alpha Martin."

Everyone applauded as my father took the stage. When Jason handed him the mic, Dad tapped it a couple times.

"It's been a while since I've had to make an announcement like this. Last time I gathered you all together, it was to pass my pack leadership to my son Jason. But tonight is different." My father paused, getting emotional.

My mother walked over and took his hand. Dad cleared his throat and continued.

"As you may have heard, my daughter wasn't dead—she was lost. We kept that information from everyone all these years to protect her, in case someone found her before we did. We searched everywhere but couldn't locate her. She was just a little girl when we lost her. But fate was on our side, and after all these years, we got her back."

My parents looked directly at me. I nodded and smiled at them.

"Tonight, I want to introduce you all to our daughter, Jessica Martin."

My father held out his hand. "Come here, sweetheart."

Everyone turned to look at me. I made my way to the stage, keeping a calm smile on my face.

When I took my father's hand and stood between my parents, the whole room erupted in applause.

"This is my daughter Jessica, but I'd like you all to know her as Natalia Martin. She prefers that name, so we've made it official."

My pack members started cheering. All the other Alphas just stared at me in shock. The amazement in their eyes was impossible to miss.
