I was driving to the pack house when my mind started spinning out of control.

Her words, that look on her face—it all dragged me back to memories I'd tried to bury.

That night she drugged me. I'd always known it was her.

"How could she just admit it like that?" I growled, my knuckles white as I gripped the steering wheel.

I'd been fine until today. Sure, I knew she was plotting against me, but hearing her actually say it—that she'd drugged me, married me just for my title—it hit me like a punch to the gut.

I yanked the wheel and changed direction. No way I could face the pack house right now.

Instead, I headed to my company apartment. I took a long shower, hoping it would clear my head, but Natalia's words kept echoing in my mind.

After I got out, I lit up a cigarette and took a few drags. It helped a little.

My phone started buzzing. Lynda's name flashed on the screen.

I really didn't want to deal with this right now. But when she called again, I figured I better answer.

"Adrian, where are you?" Her voice was soft as always.

"I'm at home."

"Home? But I'm at the pack house. You're not here."

I frowned. "What are you doing there this late?"

There was a pause before she answered quietly, "I'm spending time with Aria and Noah. They're such sweet kids. I think they really like me. They even asked me to stay the night."

I rubbed my forehead. This woman was really trying to make herself part of my life. Taking care of my kids without asking for anything in return.

"That's good, Lynda. I'm glad they like you."

She laughed softly. "Actually, I have a favor to ask. Would you do it for me?"

"What is it?"

"One of my friends is having a birthday party at Silver Night. Would you come with me?"

The mention of that place made my blood run cold.

Silver Night—the most exclusive club in our territory. The same damn club where Natalia had drugged me and crawled into my bed.

Something clicked in my head, and everything went dark for a second.

"Yeah. I'll go."

"Thank you, Adrian."

I hung up as my mind started racing. I scrolled through my contacts and hit a number.

The guy answered on the second ring, his voice shaking. "A-Alpha."

I cut straight to the point. "I need all the security footage from that night. Get it to me."

"Alpha, that was almost six years ago. I don't know if we even have those files anymore."

I blew out a stream of smoke. "Check every backup, every archive. I want every single recording from that night on my desk tomorrow. And if you can't make it happen, I'll shut your whole operation down."
