Alpha's Twins Chapter 203
Noah and Aria's eyes went wide with shock.
Aria's lips parted as she stammered, "Y-You knew?"
I lifted my hand from Noah's head and gave Aria's cheek a gentle pinch.
"What do you think about your dad, Princess? In case you didn't know, he's the head Alpha of multiple packs."
Aria's jaw dropped when she heard this. I looked over at Noah, who had his head down.
I let go of Aria's cheek and turned to Noah.
"I gave you that phone and tablet so you two could talk to your mom."
He looked up and asked, "Really?"
I nodded with a small smile.
I wasn't stupid enough to give the kids those devices just to keep them calm. They couldn't spend all day glued to screens. I knew exactly what they'd use them for. I knew they'd find a way to contact Natalia.
Aria grabbed my hand with both of hers and pleaded, "Please don't take them away, Dad."
Every time she called me dad, I froze. That word seemed to carry so much weight—it actually lightened the heaviness in my chest a little.
I patted her hand and said, "If you two eat your meals without giving anyone trouble, I won't take them away."
Aria beamed at me. "Okay."
Noah stayed quiet. He was still mad at me.
I picked up their plates and handed them over. "Finish eating."
For the first time, they actually listened. They started eating without a fuss.
The tablet started ringing again. This time, I grabbed it before Noah could and got up from the bed.
"Don't worry. I'm keeping my promise," I told them when they looked at me.
I headed toward the balcony while they kept eating.
"Don't come out here and bother me," I said.
"But Mommy's calling. She wants to talk to us," Noah protested.
I shot him a look that clearly said 'shut up and eat.' He dropped his head and went back to his food.
"Noah, let Dad talk to Mommy," Aria said with a giggle.
I ignored their reactions and walked out to the balcony.
The ringing had already stopped. I set the tablet on the stand I'd placed on the table and sat down.
I waited for it to ring again. It didn't take long.
I could see it was a video call. I answered.
A young, beautiful woman immediately appeared on the screen.
Her appearance made me stop and stare. She looked like she was lying in bed, wearing a black nightgown, her hair damp like she'd just gotten out of the shower and was getting ready for bed.
She was clearly shocked to see me instead of Aria or Noah.
She quickly sat up in bed. Her black nightgown shifted with the sudden movement, sliding down slightly. I caught a glimpse of her cleavage.
I couldn't look away.
Her shocked voice cut through my thoughts.
"Adrian!"
