Alpha's Twins Chapter 23
**Natalia's POV**
After we got to the hotel, I couldn't sleep at all that night.
Every time I closed my eyes, all I could think about were those disgusting men touching me. I tried everything to fall asleep, but my mind kept drifting back to the moment Adrian showed up to help me.
He really saved me today. And now I couldn't stop thinking about him, which was driving me crazy.
The next morning, Eric asked me to come with him to some meeting. I told him no way – pack business had nothing to do with me. So he had to go alone.
I was just sitting on my bed, debating whether to call the kids, when I finally decided to do it.
A maid picked up, which was weird because Noah and Aria always answered the phone themselves.
"Why are you answering? Where are they?" I asked.
The maid didn't say anything. My stomach dropped.
"Hello? Why aren't you talking? Where are my kids?"
What she said next made my blood run cold.
"They... they haven't been back since this morning. They're missing."
I shot up from the bed. "What do you mean missing? Where the hell are they?"
"I don't know, Miss. Everyone's out looking for them right now."
My legs started shaking. I felt like I was going to collapse.
"This can't be happening."
I completely lost it, pulling at my hair and pacing around the room.
I needed to get home right now.
But then it hit me – what if Lynda was behind this? Again.
I was so pissed off that I grabbed my phone and started typing furiously. I was going to post something that would make everyone see who she really was. She couldn't just keep getting away with this crap.
After I finished writing, I hit post. I figured Lynda would call me begging to take it down, and then I'd tell her to give me my kids back.
The post started spreading like wildfire. People were sharing it everywhere.
I read over what I'd written:
"Don't judge a book by its cover. Lynda Jensen might look like some classy lady who's about to become the Crystal Blood Pack's Luna, but let me tell you who she really is.
She's nothing but a homewrecker. I was Adrian Miller's wife, and she was the other woman who destroyed our marriage. She knew exactly what she was doing when she came after my husband. She'd show up at our house, constantly throwing herself at Adrian even though she knew he was married. She never stopped until she got what she wanted – my divorce papers. She's not some dignified woman with self-respect. She's just shameless. Now you can all decide what kind of person she really is."
The comments started pouring in, and people's opinions were doing a complete 180. Pack members remembered that Adrian had been married, though he'd never brought his wife to public events, so they hadn't known it was me.
They put two and two together – Lynda became Adrian's girlfriend right after I left the pack.
The comments were brutal:
"Lynda is absolutely disgusting!"
"She went after a married man! How could she?"
"We can't have someone like that as our Luna!"
"She's a total homewrecker! Alpha needs to dump her ass."
"Natalia's amazing for handling this with such class. She didn't even trash Adrian – just left quietly while this woman kept pushing."
"I hope Beta Eric and Natalia get together. They're perfect for each other."
There were so many comments I couldn't keep up. But I was satisfied. She deserved every bit of this. I hadn't lied about anything – just told everyone the truth about who she really was.
I kept waiting for her to call me, but instead my dad's name popped up on my screen.
"Dad? Do you know where Noah and Aria are?"
The words tumbled out before he could even say hello.
"Natalia, you need to calm down."
"How can I calm down? My kids are gone! Someone took them. It has to be Lyn—"
"Just listen to me for a second. I talked to the maid after you called. Aria was crying because she wanted to see you, and you know how Noah gets when he makes up his mind about something. They both wanted to visit you. So I arranged for them to fly out to you."
"You WHAT?"
"They're on their way to you right now. Their flight lands in about two hours. They wanted it to be a surprise, that's why I didn't tell you ahead of time. Don't worry – William's with them."
I felt like I could finally breathe again. My kids were safe.
"Dad, we're all coming home today."
"But they just left to see you."
"I don't want them anywhere near him. Adrian's here, and I need to get them out of here as fast as possible."
"Whatever you think is best, sweetheart."
I hung up and started throwing my stuff into my suitcase. Thank God today was the last day of this whole event. I'd been planning to leave after Eric's meeting anyway, even though most people weren't leaving until tomorrow.
When Eric got back from his meeting, I told him everything.
He agreed we should leave immediately. He packed his bags and booked our flights online right away.
After a quick lunch, we headed straight to the airport.
Eric kept reassuring me that everything would be fine since we were getting out of here today.
I knew he was right, but I wasn't taking any chances.
What if Adrian found out about the kids? What would I do then?
Staring out the airplane window, I couldn't stop thinking: *The last thing I want is for them to meet Adrian.*
