Alpha's Twins Chapter 56
**Natalia's POV**
Day by day, I was slowly settling into life at the Crystal Blood Pack.
I kept my promise and visited Uncle Lucas every day, taking care of him like any devoted daughter would. Aunt Grace clearly cherished having me around. She told me she knew things hadn't been great with my foster family, and that I should think of her as my mother now.
I couldn't bring myself to tell her the truth – that I'd already found my real family, and they were the greatest blessing in my life.
Today was the end of the week.
Tomorrow, Uncle Lucas would need the cure to heal his wolf.
Since Harold wanted to check on Uncle Lucas, we all headed to the hospital together.
"I'm amazed at how much his health has improved," Harold told Aunt Grace.
Aunt Grace glanced over at me, then said to Harold, "She's been taking care of Lucas. She handled all his medication changes and made sure he ate properly. Because of her, Lucas has been happy all week. It's like having a daughter."
I gave her a small smile and looked down.
From across the room, Harold spotted Adrian standing a little distance away from me. He was here too since his father was receiving treatment.
While his mother talked about me, his eyes stayed fixed on me.
I completely ignored him. Actually, we hadn't run into each other all week since I left the pack house, which worked perfectly for me.
"Natalia, everything depends on you now. Are you sure you can get us the cure?" Harold asked.
I looked up and nodded. "Yes. You'll have the cure tomorrow morning."
"Thank you, sweetheart," Uncle Lucas said.
I turned my head and caught Adrian's gaze. He was looking at me with skeptical eyes.
He was probably wondering how I planned to pull this off. But I had my ways.
After spending some more time with Adrian's parents, I left the pack hospital.
It was already dark when I got back to the hotel where I was staying. I went straight to my room and called my brother.
"Where are you?" I heard Jason's voice.
I frowned. "Brother, you already know the answer. I'm in the Crystal Blood Pack."
"I'm asking where exactly you are in the Crystal Blood Pack."
I figured he was asking so he could send his guys to deliver the cure to the right location.
My brother was incredibly smart. A few months ago, he'd formed an alliance with the Blood Moon Pack. Their head Alpha wanted to give Jason something as a gift to mark the partnership.
Jason didn't want to accept anything, but the Alpha insisted he ask for something that would benefit both packs.
Jason had asked me if I wanted anything from their pack. Since Doctor Max Harrison was my mentor, I knew a lot about his healing work. So I requested the 'Wolf Vine Cure.'
Jason wasn't exactly a medical expert, but he asked for it as a gift from the Blood Moon Pack's head Alpha.
At first, the Alpha took some time discussing it with Doctor Max about making it for us. But eventually, he presented us with the cure as a gift.
The cure had been mine ever since. I'd never needed to use it, but I was curious about the herbs Doctor Max used in it, so I studied the process too. It helped expand my medical knowledge.
"I'm at the Black Sparkle hotel right now," I answered, still trying to figure out why he was asking.
"Okay, I'm on my way," he said, then hung up.
My eyes went wide. Did he seriously mean he was coming here himself? I'd told him to send one of his men with the cure. Why was he coming all this way?
I rushed out of my room and hurried down to the hotel lobby.
I called my driver to ask if Jason had told him anything about coming here. But he was just as shocked as I was.
"Miss, what are you saying? The Alpha is coming here?" he asked after hearing my question.
I realized Jason hadn't told my driver because he probably figured the guy would just tell me anyway.
I sat down on the lobby couch to wait for my brother. I was worried that he might run into Adrian and lose his temper.
Even though Jason was the head Alpha of our pack, he couldn't attack Adrian – this wasn't our territory.
This was Adrian's pack. Everyone here practically worshipped him.
Plus, attacking an alpha in his own pack was strictly forbidden.
An hour passed. I was still sitting on the couch waiting for Jason. I tried calling him, but it wouldn't connect.
I kept my eyes glued to the hotel's main entrance, which was all glass so I could see outside.
I was nervously chewing my nails when suddenly I spotted a bright blue car pulling up outside the hotel.
I recognized that car immediately – it was Jason's. I jumped up and rushed outside.
The driver got out and went around to open the back door.
Jason stepped out of the car. Being the head Alpha of a pack, he always carried this powerful aura that people could feel.
Everyone nearby glanced in his direction.
I ignored everyone else and walked straight to him.
The moment my brother saw me, his face lit up with a huge smile.
I grinned back and threw my arms around him.
"Brother, I missed you."
I felt him kiss the top of my head gently. "Brother missed you too, little one."
I pulled back from the hug and laughed.
"Stop spoiling me and tell me why you came. I told you to send someone else."
