Alpha's Twins Chapter 232
A terrified woman stood beside Theta Emon, her whole body trembling when she finally laid eyes on the intimidating man before her.
Adrian's dark gaze made her heart pound so hard she thought it might burst from her chest. It was like staring death in the face.
Her hands were bound behind her back. The mid-length dress she wore exposed her scratched and bruised legs.
Slowly, her eyes shifted from Adrian to the woman standing next to him.
Her eyes went wide. Adrian didn't miss her reaction.
He turned his head toward Lynda, who looked just as shocked as the captive woman.
"You know her?"
Lynda couldn't answer, just stared. When Adrian placed his hand on hers, she jumped.
"H-Huh?" She turned to face him.
Adrian's expression was unreadable, like still water. No one could tell what was going through his mind.
His men had all gotten out of their cars, waiting for orders.
"Do you know this woman?" Adrian asked again.
"N-No. I don't know her."
Adrian let go of her hand. "Why are you stuttering?"
Lynda quickly pulled herself together and cleared her throat. "You're right, Adrian. I should go."
Adrian just stared at her. Lynda glanced at the woman again and asked, "Who is she anyway? Why do you have her tied up?"
Adrian smirked as he looked back at the woman. "I found her really attractive. Don't you think so?"
Lynda frowned and glared at the woman. "Did you try to seduce him?"
The woman shook her head frantically. "N-No."
"See? Didn't I tell you I'm not a good man? Now go home and celebrate our breakup," Adrian said to Lynda, his eyes never leaving the captive woman.
"Tonight's going to be a long one," he muttered under his breath.
"A-Alpha, I didn't do anything."
"Adrian, let her go. She looks innocent. How about spending the night with me instead? I promise you won't have any complaints," Lynda said seductively, grabbing his arm.
Adrian's glare made Lynda's blood run cold. She quickly got into her car, hands shaking. Adrian slammed the door and looked at her driver.
"Get her home safely."
After Lynda's car disappeared down the road, Adrian slowly walked toward the woman.
She tried to step back, but Theta Emon blocked her path.
"Al-Alpha, please—"
Adrian stopped in front of her and grabbed a fistful of her hair. When she cried out in pain, he sneered.
"Faith Pierce. Looks like you're not as faithful as your name suggests."
