Alpha's Twins Chapter 131
Under the silver moonlight, wolves tore into each other like their lives depended on it—because they did. This wasn't just about territory anymore. This was survival.
Growls and snarls echoed through the trees as the night air grew colder. Years of bad blood had finally boiled over into this bloody mess. The metallic stench of blood mixed with smoke and destruction, creating a cocktail of death that hung heavy in the forest.
Natalia pushed herself harder, racing toward the chaos. She reached out through the mind link to her pack's gamma.
"I'm coming," she said.
"Don't you dare. Turn around and go back. We can't protect you out here. This isn't just some regular fight—"
She cut him off. She didn't want to hear his excuses.
"Nancy, time to pick a side," Natalia told her wolf.
Nancy went silent, retreating and letting Natalia take control. It was like she couldn't bring herself to fight against her mate.
That pissed Natalia off. She slammed her wolf down and growled in frustration.
*Everyone's betraying me. My whole damn life, nothing but betrayal. Now even my own wolf is stabbing me in the back.*
Within minutes, she reached the battlefield and saw wolves ripping each other apart. She took a deep breath when she saw all the blood. This was exactly what she'd been dreading—a war where she'd have to worry about losing her family.
She looked back the way she came, and her heart nearly stopped when she realized the fighting was moving toward the pack house. If this kept up for another half hour, they'd be at their front door.
Natalia wanted to end this right here, right now. But she couldn't do it alone. She'd have to fight through every wolf standing between her and the bastard who started this war.
*I'm coming for you,* she thought, then took off running.
When she growled and charged toward the nearest wolves, they froze in shock. They thought another head Alpha had joined the fight.
But when they saw it was a female wolf, they couldn't believe it.
"Who the hell is she?" they asked each other through their mind links.
Natalia spotted her pack's wolves. She knew them, and they knew her. They looked stunned—their head Alpha's sister was an Alpha female with a wolf this massive.
Two enemy wolves came at her. She rolled her shoulders and sprinted toward them, moving twice as fast as they were.
When Natalia hit them with just a simple head movement, their eyes went wide. They flew through the air and hit the ground hard. They tried to get up but couldn't move from the pain.
The wolves around them looked scared after what they'd just witnessed.
Natalia snorted to herself.
*Just like you, your fighters are cowards, Alpha Adrian.*
She charged forward, taking down anyone in her path. She needed to find her brother and make sure he was okay.
The air heated up from all the fighting on the ground.
Natalia didn't feel even a little sick when she bit off wolves' heads or tore into their legs to cause maximum pain.
*Everyone's my enemy on this battlefield. Can't trust anyone. No mercy,* she kept telling herself.
She didn't realize it, but her Alpha rank was driving this mindset. If she'd been an omega, she would've been crying or running away, no matter how big she was.
Not being able to find any of her brother's officers made her blood boil with rage.
While she was looking around, three wolves jumped her and bit into her legs.
She hissed in pain and tried to shake them off, but their fangs were stuck like glue.
"Let go or I'll give you deaths you can't even imagine," she said, connecting her mind to theirs. It was allowed on the battlefield—wolves needed to communicate with enemies sometimes.
This was also how a lot of wolves escaped wars by making deals with other packs and betraying their own.
"Our Alpha's orders. He told us to kill anyone trying to get to Alpha Jason."
Natalia's eyes went wide when she heard that. Fury exploded through her as she growled, making them shake with fear.
She sank her teeth into each of their necks so hard that blood gushed out.
They let go of her legs and collapsed to the ground. They couldn't believe a single bite could cause that much pain. But what really shocked them were the wounds they'd just made on Natalia's legs.
They healed in seconds!
Seeing their terrified faces, Natalia laughed. She didn't waste any more time and kept running.
Since both her bite and claws were poisonous, she didn't need to stick around to finish them off.
As Natalia kept moving forward, she finally spotted her target.
A massive black wolf was fighting off dozens of enemies all by himself. His strength was enough to make anyone think twice about approaching him.
Getting near him meant certain death. His aura was unlike anything Natalia had ever felt from any wolf. Like the ultimate warrior, he was cutting down every wolf that tried to stop him.
But when he heard one of his pack members call out, he stopped and turned around.
The anger in his red eyes faded when they landed on the black wolf with blue eyes. His expression shifted to shock.
"Who are you?" he asked. He couldn't smell her from this distance with all the blood and mixed scents in the air.
Natalia glared at him and took a step back. Then she gathered every ounce of strength she had and charged straight at him, ready to kill.
"Your death."
