Alpha's Twins Chapter 63
A low growl rumbled from Adrian's throat. Lynda's legs shook so badly she could barely stand. Within seconds, she dropped to her knees.
"Where did you get these photos?" Adrian demanded.
"O-One of my friends recognized her and took them. She said Alpha Jason was calling her baby. They looked really... close."
Adrian's hands clenched into fists. He couldn't understand why this woman affected him so much.
Hadn't he always known what Natalia was like? She'd had kids with another man. After everything that happened between them, why did she still get under his skin like this? He was pissed at himself for caring. He turned back to Lynda.
"When were these taken?"
Lynda lifted her head. "Last night."
"Then why wait a whole day to show me?"
"She only sent them to me an hour ago. She also said she overheard them talking about some cure. Natalia was asking if Alpha Jason brought it with him."
Adrian went quiet for a moment, then gave his order.
"Get up."
She stood and tried to step closer, but he held up his hand.
"Go home. I don't want to talk right now."
Lynda nodded and left the house. Once she reached her car, a satisfied smile spread across her face.
"Natalia, you lucky bitch! Adrian screwed up my plan and saved your ass. But for how long? I've got another plan to destroy you. Let's see what Adrian does now. After seeing those photos, whatever feelings he was starting to have for you are totally crushed."
She laughed as she got in the car.
Her driver glanced back, wondering why she was laughing to herself. But when she shot him a look, he just started driving. He knew she wasn't the sweet woman she pretended to be around the head Alpha.
Meanwhile, Adrian was losing his mind.
He pulled out his phone and called the hotel, demanding the security footage from last night.
Within minutes, they sent everything over. He went to his study and opened his laptop.
Sitting in his chair, he watched the hotel's exterior camera feed.
When he saw Alpha Jason and Natalia hugging, his eyes went dark.
Adrian clicked on the interior footage. He couldn't believe it—Natalia had actually led Alpha Jason to her hotel room.
Adrian slammed the laptop shut and stormed to the window.
He dialed a number. "Find out if Alpha Jason has Doctor Max's cure."
After the call, he lit a cigarette and stared outside.
The moon hung orange in the sky, casting eerie light across the forest. His eyes stayed fixed on it for what felt like forever.
Half an hour later, his men called back. The Blue Blood Pack and Blood Moon Pack had formed an alliance months ago. As a gift, the Blood Moon Pack had given Alpha Jason that exact cure.
Adrian ended the call and kept staring out the window.
Standing there smoking, he didn't even notice when dawn broke through the darkness.

Natalia opened her eyes to find herself in a hospital bed.
She tried to lift her hand but winced at the sharp pain in her right arm.
"Easy. Your hand's still healing."
A female voice made her turn. A nurse stood beside the bed.
She hissed in pain and used her left hand to touch her head.
"It hurts," she mumbled, trying to sit up.
The nurse helped her up and placed a pillow behind her back.
"Thank you," Natalia said.
The nurse smiled. "You were pretty banged up last night. The Alpha brought you in. He looked really worried and didn't leave until late."
Natalia looked away. She remembered how Adrian had saved her. She should probably thank him for that.
"You're lucky you didn't get hurt worse—this kind of accident could've left you paralyzed."
"Thanks for saving me."
"Oh no, Doctor Harold treated you himself. You got some stitches in your head that'll take time to heal."
Now Natalia knew what she was dealing with. She'd definitely have to thank Harold later.
Suddenly, the door burst open. Natalia turned to see Adrian.
He glanced at the nurse, who bowed and quickly left them alone.
Natalia's eyes went to his bandaged hands. He'd gotten hurt saving her.
She cleared her throat as Adrian approached the bed.
"What you did for me last night..." Natalia paused and took a breath. "Thank you, Alpha Adrian."
Her voice sounded formal, like she was addressing any other pack's alpha.
"I don't need your thanks," Adrian said, throwing photos at her.
Natalia flinched. She grabbed the scattered photos and felt her blood run cold.
Someone had taken pictures of her and her brother.
"These photos—"
"Why did you sleep with him?" Adrian cut her off.
Her eyes went wide. She stared at him and shook her head.
"What are you talking about?"
Adrian moved closer. She tried to back away, but she was already pressed against the pillow with nowhere to go.
"Why?"
Natalia tried to stay calm. "You're misunderstanding."
Adrian glared at her. When his eyes shifted to her head injury, he stepped back.
He nodded slowly. "You did it to get the cure, didn't you? If I'd known you'd sleep with another man to get it, I never would've let you help my father."
