Alpha's Twins Chapter 234
Adrian stepped through his front door, Faith's desperate screams echoing from the driveway behind him.
She refused to come inside, but Theta Emon barked orders at the guards to drag her in anyway.
The pack officials filed in after Adrian. He tossed his suit jacket onto the leather couch and loosened a couple shirt buttons.
Strolling over to the wet bar, he fixed himself a drink.
"You're looking pretty good for someone who just had their night ruined," Beta Patric observed, watching him.
Adrian's mouth curved into a cold smile. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"On the drive over, I figured you'd be pissed as hell. But you seem... relaxed," Gamma said.
Adrian glanced down at Faith, who was sobbing on the hardwood floor beside the couch.
"You all know how much I love making people pay. It's been way too long since I've felt this kind of rush."
Drink in hand, Adrian settled onto the couch like he owned the world. He crossed his legs, one arm draped over the back cushions, the other holding his glass.
He swirled the amber liquid slowly, then took a sip.
His eyes found his officials, who were leaning against the bar. "What'd you dig up on her?"
"She's single, Alpha. Had a boyfriend once—he was a pack fighter," Gamma Benjamin reported.
Delta Julian shook his head. "But lately she's been screwing rich boys for money. Buying designer clothes and jewelry with what she makes on her back."
Theta Emon stayed quiet. His job was catching her, not investigating her sex life.
Beta Patric poured four drinks and set them on the counter while listening.
"Sounds like we've got ourselves a real piece of work," he said, taking a sip.
Faith shook her head frantically through her tears. "No, that's not true! They're all sons of powerful men—I couldn't say no because I was scared for my life. They forced me!"
Adrian raised an eyebrow. "Just like how you forced your cousin to sleep with me?"
Faith's face went white. She thought Adrian had it all wrong. "No! I didn't want to send her to your room!"
"And why should I believe that?" Adrian was playing with her now, wanting to hear her version of the truth.
Faith had no idea Adrian already knew everything. She kept playing innocent.
"She was the one who—"
"Don't waste our time just because the Alpha's feeling chatty. Spill it and get it over with," Gamma Benjamin snapped, starting toward her.
Adrian held up a hand, stopping him. "Easy, Benjamin. Let her talk. I've got a surprise for her anyway. Might as well let her enjoy it first."
Faith looked confused until she noticed the guards glancing toward the front door.
When she turned around, her blood ran cold.
An elderly man walked in flanked by two guards. The same man she'd sold Natalia to all those years ago.
"You!"
Adrian laughed and knocked back the rest of his drink. He looked at the guards standing near Faith.
"Get the guest room ready. She's spending the night with her new friend here. Seemed only fair—I sold her to him the same way she sold her cousin to him years ago."
