Alpha's Twins Chapter 121

My hands were trembling as I gripped his collar. The rage burning inside me was so intense I could have killed the man standing right in front of me.

But somehow I managed to control myself and let him go.

"Just shut your mouth."

He wouldn't stop, firing question after question at me.

"What the hell gave your brother the right to talk about my health? What was he thinking? That his sister got knocked up by some random guy—not because she's a slut, but because I can't perform?"

His face was twisted with fury as he demanded answers.

I had nothing to say. My brother had definitely crossed a line bringing that up.

"I'm going to take everything from you and your brother. I'll make your whole family crawl at my feet. Remember those words, Natalia Hansley."

"Get out of my pack and don't ever come back. We don't need you here."

"I'm leaving this time. But your brother? He's not getting away with this. Any man who humiliates me in front of other Alphas deserves to die by my hands."

His words hit me like a punch to the gut. I snarled back at him.

"Don't you dare touch him. Death can't have him. You want to know why?"

He stared at me like I'd grown a second head, but I didn't care.

I stepped closer and whispered,

"Because I'm always with him. Anyone who even thinks about hurting him—I'll rip their heart right out of their chest."

I was talking directly to him. I wanted him to know I'd kill him myself if he so much as laid a finger on my brother.

Adrian just stood there, completely still. He looked like he was in some kind of trance, like he hadn't even heard what I said.

I scoffed when I caught him staring at my lips. I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand, making sure he could see how disgusted I was.

I spun around and walked away fast. I couldn't stay near him another second without completely losing it.

When I got to the living room, I hurried toward my bedroom.

"Miss?" one of the maids called after me.

I turned around.

"The Alpha wants to see you in his room."

"Why? Is the meeting over?"

"No. He said he'd be there soon."

I nodded. Before I could turn away, she spoke again.

"Your lips."

I covered my mouth. Had she seen the cut?

"Your lipstick's gone."

Her words caught me off guard. I usually wore light lip color, but today I'd put on red lipstick. The staff must have noticed. I realized the kiss had rubbed it all off.

"I used a tissue. That's probably why."

I turned and headed to my room. The second I closed the door, something hit me.

I rushed to the mirror and checked my lips.

The cut on my bottom lip had already healed completely.

"Did he notice back then?"

I walked over to my bed and sat down. I had no idea what he wanted from me.

The more I tried to avoid him, the closer he seemed to get.

When thoughts of his kiss crept back into my mind, I rubbed my lips hard.

"I hate you. I hate you. I hate you," I kept repeating, thinking about him.

I knew what my brother did was wrong. But that bastard deserved every bit of humiliation he got. Actually, after what he pulled today, he should have been humiliated even more.

"Isn't that sexual harassment? How dare he kiss me?" I tugged at my hair in frustration and stood up.

I was pacing back and forth when my door suddenly opened.

I stopped and looked at the two men walking in.

"I told you to come to my room. Why didn't you?" Jason asked as he shut the door.

Eric was with him, walking toward me.

"What's wrong? You look upset," he said.

I ignored him and looked straight at my brother. I was still pissed at Eric for what I'd overheard yesterday.

"Jason, why did you do that?" I asked.

He frowned. "Do what?"

"I know everything."

"How? Did you bug the meeting room?" he asked with a laugh.

I could tell he was in a great mood. I sighed and walked over to him.

"I've always seen you treat everyone with respect. But what you did today was completely out of line. Why did you humiliate him in front of everyone?"

Jason took my hand. "Natalia, why do you care about him? Have you forgotten what that man did to you?"

I shook my head. "I remember everything. But I never expected this from you. You set up that whole meeting just to embarrass him, didn't you?"

Jason cupped my face.

"I can't stand seeing my sister cry. That man made you cry so many times. The divorce didn't stop him—he kept messing with you like it was nothing. I should have put him in his place years ago."

I looked down. "I don't know what to say or do anymore."

He put his hand on my head and stroked my hair.

"I broke his ego today. He'll never show his face around you again. I showed him exactly where he stands."

I had nothing left to say, so I just nodded and stood there quietly.

"Alpha Leo is my friend. The contract is with him. I'm throwing a party tomorrow to celebrate the alliance."

"I don't want to go to any party," I said, turning toward the window.

"You're the CEO of the pack company. You have to be there."

"Fine," I replied, staring outside.

Eric and Jason watched me for a while. When they saw I wasn't turning around, they quietly left, giving me some space.
