Alpha's Twins Chapter 253
Everyone turned to look when Alpha Adrian came down the stairs with two kids in tow.
Their eyes went wide with surprise. No one had ever seen Adrian with children before.
Taking a closer look at the kids, they realized they were identical twins. The resemblance to their father was unmistakable.
When Adrian reached the bottom of the stairs, he set Aria down and told her to go have fun at the party.
Noah let go of Adrian's hand the moment he spotted his old school buddies. He looked up at Adrian with questioning eyes.
Adrian smiled down at him and ruffled his hair gently.
"I invited them just for you and Aria."
Both kids took off running toward their friends, their faces lighting up with joy. Seeing them so happy lifted Adrian's spirits.
"Alpha Adrian."
The visiting Alphas from other packs who'd made the trip for the birthday celebration gathered around him, offering polite greetings.
"Your twins are gorgeous," one of the Alphas commented.
Adrian glanced over at his children and muttered under his breath, "Just like their mother."
Being Alphas, they all caught his words despite the noise around them.
"I heard about the news regarding your—"
"Alpha."
Beta Patric quickly stepped in, cutting off the Alpha who was about to bring up Natalia.
He laughed it off and made their excuses, saying they had pack business to discuss.
"You look good out there. A handsome single dad doing his thing," Patric said, handing Adrian a glass of wine.
Adrian stayed quiet, taking a sip of his drink. He was already getting restless. He had zero intention of sticking around much longer.
He spotted his parents heading his way.
Lucas Miller and Grace Miller stopped in front of their son.
Patric gave them space and wandered off to join the other officials who were enjoying their drinks.
"Adrian, son," Lucas said, giving his boy's back a proud pat.
His son was a father now. Man enough to claim his kids in front of everyone.
Grace linked her arm through her son's and said softly,
"I'm so happy for you. It's time you settled down and built a real life."
Adrian rolled his eyes. "Settle down? I am settled, Mom."
Lucas chuckled at his wife and son going at it. His eyes drifted to the kids running around the pack house with the other children, already making friends with the visiting Alpha families' kids.
As long as I get to spend my final years with my grandchildren, I'll die a happy man.
Adrian turned toward his father. Even though he'd been pissed at the old man for years, he was finally starting to realize his dad had done the right thing forcing him to marry Natalia.
"Final years? Why are you talking like you're dying? Your son's still here to keep you safe from whatever comes."
Lucas immediately looked at him. Hearing those words from his son made his eyes well up.
Adrian looked away and turned his head.
Lucas knew his son wasn't the emotional type. Never cried, never begged anyone for anything. He'd been stone-cold since he was a kid.
He studied Adrian's face—those cold, unreadable eyes.
But then, after a few seconds, those icy eyes suddenly shifted.
Both Grace and Lucas noticed and turned to see what had caught Adrian's attention.
Their eyebrows shot up when they saw a stunning woman entering the pack house in an absolutely gorgeous gown. Her beauty outshone everyone else—like a star walking into the room.
Then they heard Adrian's voice beside them.
"Natalia?"
