Alpha's Twins Chapter 123
"No way. This isn't possible," the guy shouted, backing away.
His buddy just stood there frozen, staring at my reflection in the water. I could see both their faces clearly from where I was crouched by the stream.
"You're some kind of witch, right? This is all fake! You're messing with our heads to save your own ass." The first guy kept rambling, though his knees were practically knocking together.
The other one took a slow step back, like his legs had turned to lead.
"She's an Alpha," he whispered, voice cracking with fear.
The first guy started shaking his head frantically. "Look, she could be an alpha female, sure, but that wolf? No freaking way! How the hell can a wolf have blue eyes like that?"
I couldn't help but grin. The fear radiating off them was almost intoxicating.
I turned around and smirked at them both. "You two done babbling?"
Their eyes went wide like they'd seen a ghost.
They were terrified just looking into my eyes. The blue had taken over completely—not that soft ocean blue you see in omegas, but a deep, consuming blue that could swallow darkness whole.
I rolled my neck left, then right. The sharp crack of joints made them both flinch and swallow hard as they stumbled backward.
"W-We thought you w-were—"
"I was what? An omega? You saw me scared and figured you'd caught yourself some easy prey. For what exactly?"
"W-We had no clue you were an alpha. If we'd known, we never would've come near you."
I laughed at how their voices shook. They couldn't even move, couldn't run, because they knew that trying would be signing their death warrant.
This was exactly what my brother had been talking about at dinner. If anyone dared to mess with me, I was more than capable of handling it myself.
I thought back to that night when Adrian saved me from rogues at the council party. If he hadn't shown up, I would've killed those bastards myself.
I always tried to avoid fights first, but when there was no other choice, I had to show them exactly who they were dealing with. And once they figured it out, well... they couldn't be allowed to live.
I'm Natalia Hansley, and I'm not some helpless omega—I'm an alpha she-wolf. For years, people searched for an Alpha like me and came up empty. That's because my wolf couldn't shift until I returned to my own pack.
Only my family knew what my wolf actually looked like. Why else would Dad give me such a high position in the pack company? Why would my brother let me go to Crystal Blood Pack when he knew damn well what could happen to me there?
I watched both men glance at each other, clearly planning their escape.
"What's the plan, boys? Don't you want to play anymore? What was all that talk about? Something about eating me every day, making me bloom daily? What happened to all that?"
They shook their heads desperately. "Please forgive us."
"Forgive us, Alpha. We didn't know someone like you was staying in this pack."
Both of them begged for mercy. But I couldn't just let them walk away. They'd tried to assault me. If I weren't a powerful wolf, they might have already pinned me down to satisfy their sick desires.
God only knew how many other girls they'd done this to.
I let out a thunderous growl just thinking about them hurting innocent women.
The sound made their knees buckle, and they crashed to the ground.
I walked toward them slowly, deliberately. "I tried to run to avoid this exact situation. I don't like shifting because I can't control my rage in wolf form. But you two just had to push me past my limit."
"P-Please forgive—"
I cut him off by grabbing a fistful of his hair and yanking his head back. He cried out in pain.
"Women aren't weak. It's just the ranking system that gives men more power."
The other guy pressed his forehead to the ground in submission, hoping I'd show mercy.
I released the first guy's hair and took a few steps back.
"Go."
They looked up at me in confusion. I nodded toward the trees. "Run. Run as fast as you can so I can't catch you. Because if I do catch you, you're dead."
They scrambled to their feet and took off running.
I stood there watching them sprint away. I actually laughed when one of them face-planted while trying to escape. It reminded me of that day when I was running for my life, trying to save my unborn children from rogues.
My jaw clenched as the memories flooded back. I took a step back, then launched myself forward to hunt them down.
Minutes later, under the moonlight, my massive black wolf hit the ground running, paws thundering as I tracked my prey.
My wolf, Nancy, was stronger than anyone could imagine when they saw a black wolf with blue eyes. They had no idea what I was truly capable of.
It only took a few minutes to catch the first one. He shifted, trying to save his own skin. But before he could even think about attacking, I raked my claws across his chest and ended him.
The second guy had no clue his buddy was already dead. When I found him, he started calling out for his friend in panic.
He tried to act tough by biting my leg after shifting. But my wounds healed in seconds. I snapped his neck and hurled his wolf form into a nearby tree. His lifeless body got caught on a branch and hung there like a grotesque ornament.
I looked up at the sky and howled at the moon.
*I'll kill every single person like this who dares to get in my way.*
